To purchase RAM you can try Tiger Direct or Newegg if you're in the US. I'm sure there are tons of videos online about how to replace memory and I would guess sites like Crucial or Corsair would have info on installation as well.
Use the Crucial system Scanner to find out what kind of RAM you have and the maximum your motherboard will support. Then do a Google search for the best price.
