I think the Flip Share program got added to my new computer after I bought it. However it got there, I want it gone -- but I've been unable to uninstall it. Will it be a problem if I simply delete the folder from under Program Files (x86)?
Start/Control Panel/Uninstall Programs/Flip Share brings up: "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code 9s 2738." So, although I have clicked originally on "Uninstall" the message is about installing, and the end result is that nothing is uninstalled. I don't have a source disk to take care of the problem, so I can't even choose "repair." Since I never authorized this program, I'm beginning to wonder if it is by design unable to be uninstalled. *Can I delete from the Program Files?*
