Hi you all,
I have ordered a new mobo and P4 processor for an upgrade to my system. I intend to swap all my pci, agp,hd, CD-ROM,floppy, and mem sticks over. I have checked and everything, including mem is compatible. I will probably upgrade some of these components later. I plan on bench testing the mobo and processor and mem before installing. My question is , when I unplug everything and remove the old mobo and install the new mobo, and if everything is plugged in correct, the system should logically boot-up OK---shouldn't it? I don't forsee any major problems in attempting this. Are there any tricks or pitfalls I need to be aware of in advance? Thanks for your nelp and input.
