Hi! My name is Apoorva. I am using Windows98se. In the System properties, I clicked on the device manager tab. In the list, their is Other devices and in that an Unknow device is mentioned with a yellow exclamation and question mark. I selected it and clicked on the properties button and it shows device status: "The drivers for this device is not installed (Code 28.). To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall driver

Please help...

Hello apoorvasheth and Welcome to Tech Support Forums...

Boot into safe mode by pressing F8 repeatedly while booting.

Remove that item and any other doubles that are not needed from device manager and reboot.

See if Windows can detect it upon reboot.

At least it will let you know what driver it is looking for, Hopefully...
