start > right click my computers > manage .

under the left tab look for disk management.

try this

start > programs > accessories > right click cmd prompt , run as administrator

type sfc /scannow

wait for it to finish

and then type chkdsk /r

press y

then restart and let it finish checking your disk.

try the steps from the previous post again.

what did the message say for sfc scannow and

chk dsk?

errors that could not be fixed?

or found no errors?

Try Treesize to see of it will yield any different results.
