I uninstalled the paid version of AVG 8.0 last night on my desktop computer and laptop. After I did that and restarted my computer, I no longer have any internet connections on my desktop. And what I mean by that is that when I pull up my Network Connections folder, it is empty! It is not even showing the connections and saying they are disconnected or disabled. Any icons/thumbnails for any connections have completely disappeared.
My modem and routher are working fine. My wireless laptop is working fine and I uninstalled 8.0 from that too.
I've already called a tech guy at a local computer company and he can't figure it out.
I would sure appreciate any help!
