Hey people. Hello first of all and thanks for any leads that you can give me. I have a bit of a problem and it is in regards the subkeys for the uninstall registry keys, a few days ago maybe a week there was an update for Hp (Grrrrrr can i hate them any more??) sorry about it, anyways to make it short one day this week i noticed an update popping up from Hp DigitalMedia archiver, and kept asking me for the installation file, so what i did i went to just remove it from Add/Remove programs and then i noticed that the whole uninstall had been deleted from the registry, therefore i can not add/remove any software from the control panel. Then i tried the restore point to see if i could reset the pc and export the whole uninstall key and subkeys but then i noticed that the last restore point was a day after the HP update hit my pc. So what i am looking for if there is a way to re populate the whole uninstall key and sub keys and what is the whole procedure in windows xp home media center??

P.S. the pc is working fine but just in case you know!!!!

Any leads i'll thank

Eduardo
