I just purchased a sony dsc-p71 digital still camera, when i attemt to install the usb driver i get a unfriendly environment message. the cd-rom that came with the camera is pixila imagemixer,includes spvd-008 usb driver. can anybody help we are really anxious to get started ?

I read in the pixela software package that in win/98 and win/98 se DV capturing is not supported. In win/ 98, USB captuing is not supported. I am using win/98 SE 4.10.2222. I also ave direct X 8.1 installed. Is this a problem?

most likley ..."not supported" is the vendors way of saying we couldnt get it to work so were not going to support you in trying...what the spec of the system...if you can support it... it is always a good time to upgrade to XP


Insted of USB can you go through a serial port??
