Folders don't have file extensions. If the extension is is .mdb, then it is probably a Microsoft Access Database file. You will need MS Access to open it.
unable to open folder
I'm trying to help a friend out she has a folder that the short cut was deleted and now when she tries to open the folder she gets a message that says unable to find path. The foler has a file ext. MDB. Is there any way to open this folder. Please help. Thanks Willie

Honestly, you weren't really clear on what your initial problem was. "Unable to find path" means that you clicked on a shortcut, or some program tried to access/find a file that is no longer there.
I don't know. Were you at least able to open the file? Do you have Microsoft Access installed? If you don't have MS Access, then you should be able to view the .mdb file with MDB Viewer Plus.
