I just started up my PC and recieved the following message after I entered my login password.

"A problem has prevented Windows from accurately checking
the status of the license for this computer. To proceed
your copy of windows must be activated with Microsoft. Do
you want to continue?"

How do I go about fixing this problem without reformatting?

Bear in mind, I've never been able to get into safemode for some reason. I press F8 before the splash screen, but I can never get into safe mode. I've always went into safe mode through windows cmd. Maybe, I'm doing something wrong (embrassingly)?

Just hit "yes" here, i believe its asking you?
