Unable to load operating system is the message i get when my toshiba laptop with vista home is turned on.
I was on my compuer and yet again it froze > in frustration i give it a couple of little bangs > it went beeeeeeeep > i turned it off > i turned it on, and then it tried to restore files a couple of times but now i just get the above message.
i am trying to copy my hardrive before i use the vista recovery disk to try to fix it.
i bought a case for it (sata 2.5) and i pluged it into my mums vista desktop and i also tried my sisters xp desktop. both times it displayed as
drive F,
drive G,
dirve H,
drive J
under my computer.
when you click on any of them it gives the please insert disk into drive # message.
Any Idead?
