Unable to connect to internet

My problem started after cleaning out software. I have a 2wire from AT&T still have online connection on ps3 but computer does have a ip address in command (CMD). I have talked to AT&T Tech advise possible missing software.

I have messages like-
DNS NOT reachable
Failed error 0x80070422
Windows not install properly
Windows firewall setting can not be displayed the associated service is not running
I can not locate installation or backup disk just relocated

PLEASE HELP

What software were you uninstalling? It definitely sounds like you uninstalled an important application needed for Windows to run properly.

Have you tried a system restore?

Also, without knowing what software you uninstalled - it will be very hard for us to solve this problem.
