Can you access hotmail with another browser? You may just need to re-install IE7. That's usually the easiest thing to do when you get browser errors.
Unable to access Hotmail account
when I try to log onto my hotmail account I keep getting the following error. Request Error (unsupported_protocol)
Your request used a protocol that is not currently supported.
