I've had my comp for 4 years and I have never had anti-virus software, simply because my parents will not purchase it for me and i choose not to download something illegally.
I was wondering if there are any freeware software anti-virus that i might be able to check up on this issue - i know i have viruses, i've had clone attacks and random files and all this junk, and i'm afraid one day it'll all be over if i don't find a virus prog soon. Thx.

Yup like Fox said AVG is a pretty good anti virus program considering the price. I use it on three of my machines and have had good luck with it..........

try going to trendmicro.com they have a free online virus scan and cleaning. if the address isnt right, go to dogpile.com and search for it under the name housecall.

The only problem with trend is that it won't prevent you from getting a virus it will just find it after you've got it.
