Hi,
I'm trying to run Ubuntu Breezy Badger LiveCD on a Compaq Presario laptop. It loads to the first screen where it says, This is the Ubuntu Live CD... For default live system press enter.

So I press ENTER and it says:

Loading/install/vmlinuz.................................
Loading/install/initrd.gz
..............................
Ready.

Then it stops and nothing happens and in a few minutes it reboots. I tryed different commands, no luck.
????

Um, Post The Stat's Of the computer, it might be a hardware related problem, or did you download the .iso file youself, if you did, their may be a possability of a miss burn.

Well If It's freezing right after unziping the main packages, it's most likely a problem of your CD burner/player. boot up in normal windows on the laptop and make sure you can view all that is on the CD.
