I'm trying to correct an unstable build, replacing XP, a8nsli, 939 with; Ubuntu, Intel-boxdp35dpm, lga775 MOBO and bx80562Q6600.

I recommended a Matrox parhelia but got ATI all-in-wonder. Will the ATI function well? The computer will primarily be used for audio recording with Adobe audition 2.0, presonus Firepods, Sony Sound Forge 8 and Ardour.

I need this computer for audio recording/editing etc. with probable A/V production later.

I'm running an All-In-Wonder RAGE 128 under Ubuntu with no problems.

Thanks! Though my question is more a sound card issue, coupling an AMD sound and video device with and Intel board and CPU. I need to turn-off the sound part but use the video part??
