two soundcards

hi,
i have 2 soundcards,a creative soundbalster vibra 128 and a integrated sigmatel audio card.the sigmatel audio has front panel jacks and the soundblaster has only rear panel jacks.i want to connect my headphones and mic to the front panel(sigmatel) and the speakers to the rear panel(sound blaster).Is there any way to make this work.

Also is it possible to connect the front panel jacks to the soundblaster card.

Hi npt1988,

Unfortunatley, these aren't possible. The onboard sound is disabled when you use a PCI sound card, and the front audio jacks can only be used to connect speakers to the onboard audio. From what you are trying to do, it sounds like you would be best either using just the onboard sound or using the soundblaster and getting a 3.5 mm extension cable and y-splitter cable.
