Hi,

I want two computers to share a cable modem, but I don't want them to be accessible to each other in case one of the computers gets infected. The computers should be 100% isolated from each other. I understand that if I just use one router, that's not enough.

Is there a simple configuration that would work for me?

Using cheap SOHO routers, you'd need three of them. One to connect directly to the cable modem, then one additional router for each computer.

You can also accomplish the same thing with any decent software firewall since no file/print sharing is involved.
