Hai All,

I have a tvse msp printer 335 model. It may not be available outside asia. I have a problem with the speed of the printer. I have installed it on my windows xp pro machine.

I want to increase the speed of my printer. I wanted to enable bidirectional printing. But the option for bidirectional printing is disabled.

Can you tell me how i can get it enabled so that i can check it and get bidirectional printing from my printer to increase the speed.

Bye

VM.

johnwill is correct - grab the newest drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Have the printer attached to your computer with USB cables if your printer supports this. The old parallel cables are very slow.

Set your print quality to draft and have it use less ink. You'll print pages very fast, although the ink will be less dark.

If you use the parallel port:

If your computer bios has parallel mode set to spp instead of epp or ecp this can be the cause of the bi-directional printing disabled status.

Check your bios settings for your parallel port if it is built on the motherboard.

Other than that everyone elses suggestions are great too.

I looked up your printer (I think)
It is serial and parallel right?

Do you have it plugged in serially or parallel??

Serial may not have the bi-directional support.
