tv signal doesnt show

Hi there! Can you tell us a bit about the PC it's being plugged into? The system itself looks simple enough but with USB you can sometimes run into issues. It's also recommended that for items like this that you use the USB ports on the back of your pc, the ones directly attached to the motherboard.

i was in device manager and it says the drivers have not been installed. when i try to install it from a cd i have it wont let me, and when i download sp2 (which it says i need to install usb 2.0) it wont let me install that either. any ideas?

What do you mean when you say it won't let you? Are you logged in as an administrator?

Have you tried to install it via the add new hardware wizard? You can use that, and when it asks for the location of your drivers, pop in the driver CD, click "choose location manually", and in the next screen put a check next to "include CD drives in the search". Then click OK, and it should copy the driver. After, use the CD to install the software.

ok update: i used device manager to update to usb 2.0 (which is the reason i couldnt see video) throughout the process it was asking for this and that file and about copying another file....... then its done and i can see video ...... but.... when i restart my pc (or shut down and turn back on) i get the blue screen of death everyone has probably run into at one point or another..... i restore and do it all over again just to confirm, and it is when i install usb 2.0 (just to double check it wasnt something else i installed) am i out of luck or is there something i can do? this blows btw
