Turning off Java in IE?

I use both IE and Netscape since Netscape has less page errors, pictures always pop up and IE I get a lot of red "X"'s, and turning off Javascript to stop popup ads is so damn easy. How can I also turn off Java in IE easily so when visiting webpages where Java is necc, I can re-enable it? I use IE when I visit sites that are not Netscape friendly but for the most part Netscape is far less easier to navagate with
