Are we talking about the Recycle bin in Windows? Or the Trash Bin on a Mac?
The Recycle bin has a limited amount of space, so large files are automatically deleted rather then sent to the bin. If your Recycle bin shows that it is full or has files in it but your can't restore them, then the bin has become corrupted. You will not be able to recover any files from the Recycle Bin.
To Reset the Recycle Bin, Start a Command Prompt as Admin and type,
Code:
rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin
then press Enter. After that. Restart the computer.
