Hey,
I am trying to connect my old 80GB HDD from my old PC that BSOD for registry failure. Nothing happens when I connect the HDD through USB. Power is connected and sounds like drive is spinning. Any help?

Old PC:
Dell Dimension 2400
Windows XP(32 bit)
Maxtor Diamond Plus 8

New PC
Gateway E4620
Windows 7(64 bit)

With the drive attached, go to Start/Search and type diskmgmt.msc Right click the diskmgmt.msc icon in the Search Results and Run As Administrator. In Disk Management do you see your old HDD there? does it say that the file system is Unallocated Space? Meaning the file system is corrupted and the data is lost.
