Note the ' i ' in 750i. That stands for intel and indicates the board accepts Intel processors. In this case, specifically the Intel socket LGA 775 procs.

You need an AMD based motherboard. One that accepts/supports the socket AM2 line of cpu's. Stick with ASUS or Gigabyte. One of these will work for you:

In addition, you may want to look at something newer (above boards are a couple or three years old). Check out some boards with the AMD785 or AMD790 chipsets. Make sure to check the manufacturers' websites and look at what CPU's are supported by any board you choose.

An AM2 Processor wont fit on an AM3 board. Just make sure the board is one like Dblanchard1278 posted and Yes go for Gigabyte and Asus. Best value for money. i have had my hands on Biostar board and they suck big time......
