Hello. I have a Motorola moto g power 5G - 2023 phone running Android 13. I want to transfer the text messages on my phone to a file on my PC. There are a good number of solutions presented when the issue is searched with Google. The one that came closest to working involved downloading MobiKin Backup Manager for Android. Unfortunately, the file it produces is 1) in an XML format and does not have dates and times appended to the record. Instead, it has a code that is said to contain that information, 2) the body of the text messages looks fine, but the conversation threads are not presented in chronological order, and 3) Since Google does not put a date on the suggested solution sites, I often find methods that may have worked in the past but are no longer functional.
Are there any solutions you have tried to accomplish text file transfer from Android to PC? OR Is there any way to add a "style" to the XML file that might make the text file readable to a "non-tech" reader?
I appreciate your input.
