1. Leave the router configured as an access point.
2. Uninstall the thrid party wireless software client and use the windows wireless utility only.
3. Delete all wireless profiles from your computer guide below:

Then try and re-connect to your router SSID without the Lan cable being connected and report back any error messages that are displayed if connection is unsuccessful.
