Screen savers have SCR extension. Do a search and use "*.scr" without the "" so find all screensavers. The names will tell you which ones they are. Once you find it, simply delete that file and it's gone. If you want it left on there but don't want to see it then you need only change your screen saver choice in the Display control panel.
Toshiba Satelite A85-S107 Notebook (??)
I have a new Toshiba Satelite A85-S107 Notebook which runs a screen show for...guess who...Toshiba....like a screen saver with audio. Yuk! Suggestions on how to disable this mess from my new computer. Thanking you in advance.

Sounds like a in store demo screen saver??
Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display, Screen Saver, choose something like Windows XP for the short term.

I would just turn off the screen saver, and enable power saving on the monitor. Screen savers don't really save the screen, turning it off does.
