Hi all,
I'm having a crazy problem with my Toshiba L675 notebook. I apologize if this has been covered, but I can't find any post with similar symptoms. A few months ago I had an issue where my screen would go all white from time to time. I noticed that it seemed to be more prone to this when viewing pages/images with a darker colour. Took it in and had the screen replaced. Now a similar problem is happening. Whenever I visit a website that's not bright, or when my computer's starting up and has the primarily black windows start-up screen I get a bunch of crazy lines on my screen, in varying colours, often looking like one horizontal line of pixels from the site/screen image I'm viewing stretched vertically down the entire screen, but sometimes just black lines. If I give the screen a tap on the side and jiggle it I can often get it to go normal for a short period, but unless I go to a brighter screen it'll do it again. I have no idea what could cause this. Is my screen that I just bought pooched again? I've been quite gentle with it. Could it be the inverter board or video card? I'd appreciate any thoughts anyone might have.
