i was wondering if some can help me access the startup programs. when my windows 2000 system starts up at work it opens like 15 little icons and takes lighyears to load all of them. can some one help get to those files and can anyone give me tips on how to make windows 2000 perform better?

Well, first - have you removed everything from your startup folder?

thanks, but ins't there another way. cause in 98 i go to msconfig and it gives me a startup box and there i can check and uncheck the programs i want to run in startup. i know theres something like that for 2000 cause ive done it before.
