Can anyone help me?

I have a tiscali broadband modem that i use to connect to the net but unfortunatley it has only the usb cable to connect to my pc and no way of connecting a ethernet cable to my xbox. :sigh:

Can anyone suggest a method of connecting up my xbox so i can play online - either using my existing usb modem or provide details of the extra kit i will need to buy instead to connect to the broadband and the xbox????:4-dontkno

Please help!!!

I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy suggest you get a new modem. A USB connection may work, but Ethernet is far more flexible and reliable.

any idea what is compatible as my current one is supplied by tiscali as standard?

Would a usb to ethernet adaptor work in connecting my modem to the xbox?

Virtually any modem that supports DOSCIS standards will work. You can get these at most electronics retailers. Ask your ISP if you're allowed to use you own modem since the one they provide has inferior connectivity.
