I was originally getting this error message "Specified path does not exist" when i tried opening skype. I then tried to open my webcam and then had the same problem. After uninstalling and reinstalling the problem was not solved. I gave up.

Now I'm having the same problem when I try to open up PDF files from my email account. I don't know if this is a software or hardware issue but when I check the path, everything is where it should be.

What program do you use to open .PDF files? Adobe Reader or something else? Is the program still installed? Try saving your PDF file to your HDD and opening it from there. You may need to uninstall Adobe Reader and reinstall it. As for your webcam and Skype. Go to Start/Search and type appwiz.cpl Right click the appwiz.cpl icon in the search results and Run As Administrator. Uninstall any software for your Web cam. And Uninstall Skype. Restart the computer and reinstall the web cam software from your computer manufacturers support/download drivers site. Then once that is working, reinstall Skype. Same with Adobe Reader.
