The red light at the front of my pc...is constantly RED. As in it is not blinking, it just stays red. This just happend. The cables are all correct. the led connectors were not moved. I haven't done any mods to the pc, but the light just stays red and the HDD isn't even thinking.

help me out ...

Do you have more than one hard drive connected?

are all the jumpers still in place and seated correctly?

yeah

usually an indication of an incorrect hard disk configuration, or a half plugged in cable, or one that is on backwards.

does the machine still work correctly?

did you open it at all before this happened?

make sure the red stripes are lined up with pin 1 on all the plugs...

other than that, id have to see it....
