Did you ever get a fix for this problem. I purchased a computer about 6 months ago and am having the same issue!!!!
the pipe state is invalid
Help I keep receiving the pipe state is invalid on my vista basic operating system. Also receive a message that I dont have Administrator priviledges-what's happening and how do I fix it/

everytime i try to download anything, uninstall anything or when I try to open just about anything in the control panel. But thank you I got it fixed. Took me about 6 hours but i got it fixed
