The Page Cannot Be Displayed

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and I would really appriciate some help, I don't know what to do?? I'm sorry about the lengthly text, but i didn't want to miss anything.

About a month ago I had some serious spyware on my PC. I have since been able to get rid of the majority of these by using SpySheriff, SpyCatcher and SpyBlaster. As well as a Security Task Manager and Start Up. Now I am unable to connect to Ebay login, hotmail and msn messenger through IE6 (which i've used for about 3 years) it keeps displaying a page 'Error Connecting' 'The Page Cannot be Displayed'. I downloaded IE7 but wouldn't load up the homepage, it displayed the same 'The Page Cannot be Displayed'. So I downloaded FireFox and again, it showed a page 'The Page Cannot be Displayed'.

Under the Tools option on my web brower i chose to 'Diagnose Connection Problems' and it came up saying

HTTP, HTTPS, FTP Diagnostic
HTTP, HTTPS, FTP connectivity

warn FTP (Passive): Error 12029 connecting to ftp.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be established
warn HTTPS: Error 12029 connecting to www.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be established
warn HTTP: Error 12029 connecting to www.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be established
warn FTP (Active): Error 12029 connecting to ftp.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be established
warn HTTPS: Error 12029 connecting to www.passport.net: A connection with the server could not be established
warn HTTP: Error 12029 connecting to www.hotmail.com: A connection with the server could not be established
error Could not make an HTTP connection.
error Could not make an HTTPS connection.
error Could not make an FTP connection.
info Redirecting user to support call

I have tried everything I can, checked security settings and made sure that the internet is allowing the browser. I've disabled the firewalls and checked HTTP, HTTPS and PCT settings. Downloaded lastest HOTFIXs and .NET Framework. I've also checked my router settings. I've spoken with my IP who got me to Ping websites and all results came back fine, so I spoke with the retailer's support team they too can't help. The suggestion was to go back to Microsoft, which is proving to be difficult seeing as they shut before I get home from work.

The strange thing is that I don't have any problems loading these pages in Safe Mode so i've done a Highjackthis scan and these are results:

I nearly forgot to mention that everytime I open up IE a box pops up saying

iedw.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application.

If ok is clicked I then get the window pop up to say ie has encountered a problem, Send or Don't Send the report.

I can still the IE unless I choose ok, so i push the box aside and carry on. It doesn't do this in Safe Mode.
