So I was having problems staying connected to the wifi on my samsung galaxy mini. Frustrating as this was I did some research on what the problem could be.
Many fixes for other models in the galaxy series, limited fixes for the 'mini' version.
Long story short, I was told to edit the DHCP lease time in my router settings.
There I bumped into another problem... :S
No mather what I tried there was no way of accessing the page. Weird thing is I remember having logged in on it before.
Usually you just have to give in the standard gateway which should be 192.168.0.1 in my case. I checked it using ipconfig in cmd and my presumption was confirmed.
Then I tried resetting the router to set back any settings that might've accidently been changed, in the hope that it would also reset the standard gateway and no succes.
Now my knowledge about networking is verry limited, so I hope that someone who is reading this is now nodding his/her head, thinking of how silly it is of me to have looked over that one important thing.
Any help is appreciated!

What is the brand and model of your router?
When you open a web browser and type in
http://192.168.0.1
what happens?

Can you post the full ipconfig for the PC that is connected to the router
go to a command prompt and type ipconfig /all

When I type in the gateway 'Oeps! Google Chrome kan geen verbinding maken met 192.168.0.1' Appears. (it's Dutch, basicly it's just saying that it can't connect to the gateway)

How did you reset the router back to default settings? Did you use a reset button?

can you ping the gateway

from a command prompt:

I have reset the router by holding down a button (I don't think it has multiple buttons so it must be the reset button) as well as shutting down it's power supply

edit: On a sidenote, I do have internet acces without flaw on this pc. In fact I also have internet acces on my galaxy, I just keep having these disconnections on the galaxy which I have to manually fix (reconnect)

I've honestly never seen an issue connecting to a router while wired unless there was something wrong with the router. Doing the reset should clear all of the settings so even it all administration was somehow turned off, the reset should clear it. Have you tried another browser? Another PC?

I have tried another browser yet it still did not go to the router page :S

Does not sound like the router got reset successfully.
Try again.

Hold the reset button in with a straighted paper clip then power the router up. Once you see all lights flashing release the button.

See if you can get in after that.
