A day, unexpectedly, Chkdsk utility started to analyze the disk after I booted the computer, It seemed to found and corrected some errors, and the message of the title was in the Event Viewer. Is there a fault on my new HD or is a software issue?
However I have XP 64 bit on another partition and it is fine.

PS: I have noticed the error reported occurred immediately (3 seconds of difference) after a defrag action by TuneUp Utilities 2010. May it have a bug?

Might be worth a shot to try the hard drive manufacturer's utility against the drive to see if it finds the same issues. Here is a link if you wish to try that:
