When you do a system restore, what files do you loose? Cause I know I have done one after getting a virus from a download and all my music files are still there that I just downloaded before that and I had set the system restore to a day prior?

Anything that is in 'My Documents' will remain after a restore.

thank you, so it should remove anything else that I have downloaded or installed after that restore point....

you retain document pictures and just file like things (technical term) you loose any programs installed from time of install to restore....
