OS:Windows XP Home
System: Emachine T2865
Processor: AMD Athlon 2800 XP

System reboots spiratically. Nothing specific seems to trigger it but microsoft's "Send Report" function returns:

"Error caused by graphics driver"

I already tried all of microsoft's suggestions to fix the problem including:

system restore to 6 weeks prior to symptoms
update graphics driver
roll back driver

I also ran AVGfree onboard
I ran registry mechanic, Hijackthis(report included below), trendmicro online full scan.

Since none of this worked I gave up and replaced the graphics card

nothing changed so I went through the affore mentioned steps again.

I'm baffled.

Hijackthis report:

hey danny,

check the eventlog and see if there are any error posted. to get to the eventlog, right click on my computer -> click on manage -> and then on the left hand side click on the "eventviewer". then double click on applications to the right and see if you get any errors posted.

one thing too it could be a faulty power supply. i could recommend purchasing a good brand power supply like antec, but i dont know if each machine computers use propiertory power supplies. i know dell does so you can use another brand of power supply on a dell computer unless it comes from dell.

i havent really work with emachines before try contacting them and see if you can get a power supply replacement.
