Hi, i decided to upgrade my windows vista to windows 7 so I did a clean install. I didnt really like it but thought i might get used to it eventually so decided to install vista again on a separate partition and do a dual boot setup. The partition was already setup when i bought the computer from new, so i just formatted it and installed vista on that. It all worked fine at first and vista loaded up. But then it just restarted my computer for no reason and now the system hangs on "Verifying DMI pool data...Update Sucess!"

I dont have any recovery disks so how can i sort this problem?
id like to sort it without losing all my data, although I fear this might not happen, I just want to get it working again.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks
