Hello you good people.

My OS is windows xp it just keeps totally freezing have to reboot to get back on.

I have even formatted and reloaded all the only thing not working is my sound card.

Any help i would be most grateful

Just noticed your post. Try your question over in the XP forum: they'll have lots of advice for you there. (This forum is for the Windows 98/98se/Me questions).

p.s. ... they'll probably have you take a look to find correct sound drivers (the support website for your model is a good place to look [such as dell.com, gateway.com, etc...]) - the drivers are free to download. If your system freezes without generating any error messages or rebooting, it might be a hardware issue. If the Bios Setup for your system has a screen that shows the temps & voltages - you'll want to check those. Overheating or a problematic power supply are possibilities for your computer's symptoms.
