Is the drive encrypted?
System file RAW - NTFS
Hullo,
I have a strange and curious problem with 'My' passport Essential 1TB WD external HD.
The drive works fine on Windows XP Pro (its system file seen as NTFS) while on Windows 7 Home Premium (laptop) I cannot use it.
After unlocking the drive (passport) I have a message 'you need to format disk...' I have noticed that the drive (disk manager) is indicated as RAW system file.
I would deeply appreciate any helpful suggestion to resolve this mistery.
