My PC is regularly doing a system crash dump around once or twice a day. There is no defined time it takes, sometimes the PC can go a few days and be fine.
I have had this issue since I received the PC. It is a Quad Core which I had overclocked to 4.1GHz. Originally I asked the company I bought it from about it, they suggested reducing the overclock to 4GHz which I did. I have also found taking it off the overclocked profile does reduce the frequency of crash dumps however they are still pretty regular.
The reason I think it may be the network adapter is because when the PC restarts after the crash dump the network adapter is always broken and needs restarting. Occasionally the PC freezes as if its going to do a crash dump but recovers but the network adapter crashes. It also seems to be dependednt on the network adapter usage. If im just using a web browser the chances are it will be OK, but if im playing a game it will crash quicker. I have had this problem for so long now and would greatly appreciated any advice any can give
Thanks Alot

Remove the overclock while troubleshooting. It interferes with the diagnostics and may be covering up another problem.

I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests (located at this link: Hardware Diagnostics ). They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
Hard Drive Diagnostics (read the details at the link) - Test ALL of the hard drives.

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Resources (read the details at the link)
There are also free, bootable antivirus disks at this link: Free Online AntiMalware Resources - Bootable Disks
