Hi, big computer noob here,
I recently purchased an alienware laptop m17x r3 and while playing Star Wars: The Old Republic i encounter graphics and frame rate difficulties.
For a new gaming laptop i don't understand whats wrong.
It plays on low at 20-30fps medium with 5-15 and high 2-7.
I asked around, dell are pretty much hopeless, the swtor answer told me to update my cards etc but why should i, its brand new!
Anyway i thought id search further. I ran alien autopsy and found that SMART tests couldnt be run and that it wasnt enabled.
How do i enable it and what does it do?
Secondly i discovered this: Standard VGA graphics adapter – device cannot start (code 10)
Whats wrong and how do i fix it. Thanks
