Before the problem started, did you install any new software or hardware?
It would also be a good idea to find out your system temperatures and voltage readings as that would help diagnose any possible heat or PSU issues. You can do this with freeware programs such as SpeedFan or SensorsView (both can be found easily via Google).
Do you hear any weird 'clicking' sounds coming from inside the box? Also, when booting do you hear any beeps?
Finally, if you go into your Event Log, you should be able to get more information on the stop errors as that would probably point us in the right direction to finding out whats causing the problems. To access your Event Log, click Start -> Run -> type: eventvwr.msc -> Click OK. Expand the System section and post back on errors which are logged at the same time as the freezes or reboots.
