Hi

We have 2 Sun Bright Classic 3.5" HDD Enclosures - they would be a few years old now - we use them for our daily backup.

One of them the top row of lights (3) flashes when we turn it on and the other ALL of the lights flash when turned on.

The computer doesnt register either of them.

There is a soft clicking that is basically in time with the lights flashing in both.

They both were working fine and now this.

Please help.

Test them on another PC. If they aren't recognized on both PC's, the drives or enclosures have likely failed.

I have tried them else where with the same result.

It seems strange that they would both "die" at the same time.

Could be what they were connected to...the computer/server or even the power.

And while it may be odd, if they don't work on multiple PC's...
