i have read several people having this exact same combination of keys not working , so i don't think it is just a key board issue. i believe i typed something to all of a sudden de-activate these keys. the don't start getting sticky, the just stop working all a once completely.

Have you tried a second USB keyboard on the machine?

Is it a Laptop?

What make / model please?

Cheers.

Top hits from Google on this issue;

1) Check for any software interference - some AV packages provided by certain ISPs may have anti-keylogging features that can cause quirks in keyboard results.

2) Check with external USB attached keyboard - if it works ok, then internal keyboard needs to be replaced.

3) Check that keyboard cable is fully seated in the connector - sometimes the cable may have been partially unseated during transportation of the system during life or from prior upgrade or servicing activity. Also check condition of keyboard cable and that it is not rubbing / abraded by internal components. Try a small piece of electrical tape under the keyboard cable to protect it from rubbing on internal chasis components.
