ok, i was having fun playing a game when suddenly a DARK blue screen pops up with some white words/numbers then fades away. it then restarted the laptop. i sent the error report to microsoft, says something about problems about drivers.

so i ignored it, went back to my game then bam, the same thing happens again, this time when i start up the computer it's got the normal stuff, but with coloured horizontal stripes. it loads fine, except with the stripes and lots of the display is... well stuffed up.

i can still navigate in the laptop, however i had a hunch it was something to do with the graphics card, so i attempted to open up the graphics properties and nothing happens.

i'm using a toshiba laptop and the graphics, i'm pretty sure it's 64MB

also i'm on windows XP

any solutions?

Sounds like its overheating, try to prop up the laptop to allow airflow under it, or get a laptop cooler and see if that helps out.

Otherwise check the laptop mfg's website for updated video drivers.
