Hi people, I have a strange problem with my wireless modem router, which it would be great if someone could shed some light on for me..

Basically, the web interface of the router has stopped accepting changes made to the configuration - to say that, I change the value of a field, then clich apply, then next time I return to that page, the value has returned to the default. This only happens on one page, but it means I cannot change the name, hide or change the channel of my network. (this is especially annoying to me as my hardware seems to like channel 5 most, and there are many, many other networks in this area using the default channel 11)

The router is an Addon GWAR3000 V2.0

- I have tried accessing the page on firefox, safari and IE, on PC and Mac, but to no avail. I could not find any firmware to update the router with.

Any help at all would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance!

ps from what I can tell (which is not much!) the 'apply' button on the page is a form submission which is doing

onClick="uiDoSave()"

Have you tried reseting the router to factory defaults and then trying to configure it?

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately I have reset it, although it developed the problem before that - it was stuck on my previous settings, now, after a reset, it is stuck on the default settings!

I'd call the router manufacturer, it sure sounds like the router has bit the dust. I guess you've checked for any more recent firmware?

Yea... could not find any software updates on the webpage
