I posted this before but it's got worse now what exactly happens is say fort example i'm surfing the net and I want to open a new explorer window. I go down to the start menu it does not highlight and i cannot select it with the mouse pointer. I can use the keyboard to access it no problems. Nothing on the start menu works unless I tab out of the internet explorer window and tab back in then i click the window again, it shades out as if not selected then I click again it selects the window and now the start meu is usable.

The main thing this happens every 2-3 minutes and as a heavy net user it's causing problems. I re-installed windows thinking that was the problem to no avail. It works fine till I installed all windows updates. I have no corrupted files or viruses. I'm guessing its a problem with explorer.
