Time to make sure you don't have a virus or spyware stopping up the works! Make sure your virus scanner signatures are up to date and do a complete scan. Then, download SpyBot and do a full spyware scan.
Strange browsing problem
I'm looking for suggestions on how to troubleshoot a strange browsing problem.
My box: a Dell, running XP and IE 6.0, using Earthlink DSL. My wife's, linked by a DSL router -- an iMac using IE and/or AOL over the same DSL connection.
The problem: yesterday and today, we can't access various favorite websites: paypal, for instance. We get "page cannot be displayed" errors when we try, and the browsers seem unusually sluggish. Other sites work fine, if slowly. There seems to be no pattern to which sites we can access and which we can't. On occasion, we can access a page on her computer that won't come up on mine. I've tried a large enough sample that I feel confident that it isn't the web sites with the problem.

johnwill: is right you may have a virus! You may also delete cookies, and your temp files. If your using internet explorer go in to your browser select tools, internet options and click cookies and delete files button.
